In the United States, a regulator announced the recalling campaign – the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration NHTSA.

On the eve of the New Year, the Italian manufacturer of luxury cars Maserati announced another recall campaign, which became the fifth in 2017. This time, he responds to a relatively small number of cars – almost 1,500 units.

The cause of the recall is the detected problem of the fuel line, which can lead to a leak of gasoline to the engine compartment and the occurrence of a fire. And as you know, ignition of gasoline brings catastrophic consequences.

In the United States market, 1,406 units of the Maserati Quattroporte and Ghibli sedan of the 2018 model year are recalled. In Canada, all the models of the manufacturer in the quantity of 86 units, which were issued from July 24 to December 14, 2017, were included in the recall.

It also became known that in North America, sales of Maserati cars manufactured since December 15, 2017 have been suspended. Owners of these cars will be invited to the official service centers to replace the components of the fuel highway engine since February 9, 2018. Until then, they are advised to leave their vehicles in the parking lot.

Earlier it became known that the production of Maserati is due to weak demand.
