Maserati is preparing to launch two new modelsJuly 28, 2020
Ahead of its debut, the Italian automaker has shared a fresh teaser. The exact date of the debut has also become known.
Maserati is gearing up for two new supercars. This became known after the appearance of the teaser image. Recall that in 2018 Maserati presented a new modification of the Levante cross with a powerful 590-horsepower V8 engine. In teaser images, we can see the silhouettes of two new sedans – according to preliminary data, they will be the Ghibli and Quattroporte Trofeo models.
Also in their account on the social network Twitter Maserati said that the debut of the cars will take place on August 10, so the wait is already less than two weeks. There are no official details about the high-profile new products, but given the similarities with the Levante Trofeo, a number of assumptions can be made. At the moment, the Quattroporte Trofeo has a 523-horsepower power unit, so it is highly likely that it will also get a V8 engine with a return of 590 hp.
After the launch, the two new models, along with the Levante, will become Maserati’s fastest cars.
It will also be interesting to know how the engineers have modified the suspension and brakes of the new cars.
Recall that recently Maserati presented the first hybrid model in its history – it was the Ghibli sedan. Compared to a diesel power plant, emissions of harmful substances from such a vehicle have been reduced by 25%.
