Maserati first showed electric supercar MC20March 5, 2020
Maserati is at the beginning of a new electric era. The new MC20 is the first supercar of this new era. Italians make a special statement with a new teaser.
This is the first time Maserati has revealed the new electric MC20. Although the car is “shifted” in the photographs, it is clear that the Italians are planning. The design features classic lines for a sports model with a short nose, low rise and a relatively long body. To make sure that the supercar is not too visible, the Maserati hides the MC20 under camouflage. The part that is accidentally visible as a razor in all three photographs is always located behind the car.
Photos were taken at the Piazza degli Affari in Milan. The giant middle finger is a work of art created by Maurizio Cattelan with the special working title of LOVE. According to Maserati, it is “a symbol of Italian courage wrapped in a contemporary international work of art.”
Under the three photographs, the automaker makes a statement: “Who said it was impossible to do.” Therefore, Maserati is very confident in its new electric model. The name of the car refers to the Maserati Corse and the year in which we meet, because the MC20 will debut in May next year and a little later off the assembly line in Modena, Italy.
