Mansory’s carbon-fiber Ford GT is up for saleAugust 14, 2020
The German website Mobile has published an advertisement for the sale of an exclusive Ford GT from the Mansory studio. A total of three copies of the model were collected.
The car put up for sale was valued at 1,800,000 euros ($ 2.1 million), which is about four times the price of a standard GT.
The Ford GT-based supercar has been named Le Mansory, which refers to the Le Mans racetrack. Its development is timed to coincide with the 30th anniversary of the tuning company.
Le Mansory, in contrast to the simple model, has a modified carbon body, which is expanded in the rear area by 5 cm. In addition, it is worth noting the appearance of new aerodynamic elements, including a large wing, and also air ducts on the roof. Instead of the standard rims, they installed new 21-inch wheels with Continental Sport Contact 6 tires.
As for the car’s interior, leather and Alcantara, as well as carbon fiber, were used in its decoration.
The 3.5-liter V6 engine with two turbochargers has been upgraded. Performance increased from 656 to 710 hp. This power allows the supercar to accelerate to 354 km / h.
It is worth saying that the standard Ford GT will be released in the amount of 1,350 copies.
In addition, it was recently noted that a very rare Lincoln Mark VIII with a powerful V8 Ford power unit is being sold at the auction. It should be emphasized that the 1993 production year is up for sale.
