Mansory made a luxury pickup out of a Mercedes-AMG G63March 5, 2020
The German studio Mansory introduced the highly modernized Mercedes-AMG G63, which is now a pickup truck. In the modernization of the full-size SUV, the famous German fashion designer Philippe Plain participated.
Mansory has again returned to creating extravagant versions of luxury cars. Last year, the German tuner turned the Mercedes-AMG G63 into a luxury SUV, and fashion designer Philippe Plain helped him in this. The company called the car Star Trooper, and it undoubtedly was able to attract the attention of motorists.
This time, the studio’s specialists also selected the high-performance AMG G63 as the basis for the new project.
The novelty, called the Star Trooper Pickup Edition, is the cargo version of the G63, which received all the same upgrades that the tuner already presented for the SUV last year. We are talking in particular about gray camouflage, 24-inch alloy wheels, red LEDs and carbon fiber exterior elements.
The interior of the new Star Trooper Pickup Edition has leather lining with camouflage print and red accents, as well as a Mercedes branded nameplate covered in red leather. There are only two seats in the cabin – a cargo platform is now located on the rear passenger row.
With large turbines, a high-performance exhaust and a modified electronic engine control unit, Mansory will add up to 850 horsepower and 1,000 Newton meters to the 4.0-liter Twin-Turbo V8 AMG G63.
