Now the car MH4 550 is ready to bring joy to its owners on the weekend’s track sessions.
Presented two years earlier, a special version of the BMW M4 coupe, called the Manhart MH4 550, underwent an upgrade to bring it closer to a real racing car. German tuning studio presented a press release with detailed characteristics of the novelty.
The updated version of MH4 550 has the same level of performance. Under its hood is a modified three-liter turbocharged S55, whose power is 550 horsepower and 820 Nm of torque. In comparison with the factory version, it has an Eventuri carbon intake system, a downpipe without a catalyst, and a brand-name Manhart silencer, providing a unique roar. The increase in power was 119 hp.
Suspension of the BMW M4 MH4 550 is understated by installing the coilovers. Outside, you can watch the front splitter and rear diffuser from M Performance, made of carbon fiber. Also made of carbon fiber is the Manhart hood. On the boot lid is installed a large wing to improve handling at high speeds.
The rigidity of the body and the safety of the driver have been improved by the introduction of a red safety cage. Inside the salon in front, you can also see the red leather seats Recaro. The rear sofa was removed to facilitate weight. The driver now has a new steering wheel with indicators for the ideal gear shift moment and the Awron display, showing important engine parameters and car systems.
The cost of the updated special version of the Manhart MH4 550 tuner does not report.
