Manhart unveils 850 hp Porsche 911 Turbo SSeptember 5, 2020
The renowned German tuning studio Manhart has unveiled an upgrade package for the Porsche 911 Turbo S sports coupe.
Tuning team Manhart have just released their latest tuning package, which increases the power of the iconic 991.2 generation Porsche 911 Turbo S sports coupe to 850 horsepower.
The machine, which was named the Manhart TR850, boasts 850 hp. (1090 Nm), whereas before, this figure was 580 hp. (700 Nm).
To increase power by 270 horsepower and 390 Nm of torque, Manhart has installed more efficient turbochargers.
In addition, the engine has a new intercooler, intake system, exhaust system, the electronic engine control unit (ECU) and the PDK robotic transmission have been reconfigured.
This list of simple modifications shows how much potential the 911 Turbo S engine has from the factory and how little it takes to extract the extra power from the turbocharged 3.8-liter twin-turbo engine.
According to representatives of the Manhart studio, the TR850 is capable of demonstrating serious dynamic characteristics: acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h occurs in just 2.4 seconds, and in order to overcome the speed mark of 200 km / h it takes 4.9 seconds.
