Manhart atelier upgrades Toyota SupraDecember 4, 2020
The specialists of the Manhart studio finalized the Toyota Supra.
The redesigned car was named GR 550. First of all, the tuners equipped the 3.0-liter 6-cylinder engine with a new turbocharger, carbon fiber air intake and an optimized ECU. Along with this, the car has received a highly efficient radiator and a sports exhaust system. Thanks to these improvements, the performance of the unit has increased by 207 hp. (270 Nm) and reached 542 hp. (770 Nm).
The tuning company did not disclose information about the dynamic performance of the upgraded car, while the current Supra, which has a 3.0-liter 382 hp engine. (499 Nm), can accelerate to 96 km / h in 3.9 seconds. Considering the power of the GR 550, this figure is likely to have dropped to three seconds.
It is worth saying that the GR 550 looks quite aggressive thanks to its gold paint, sporty graphics and an AC Schnitzer front spoiler. The model, in particular, has aerodynamic side skirts, H&R springs and 20-inch wheels with black trim. In addition, KW suspension, brake and interior customization are offered for Japanese cars.
In addition, some time ago it was noted that the Carlex Design studio has modernized the appearance of the new Land Rover Defender. It should be emphasized that the tuners did not make changes to the technical part of the SUV.
