Mahindra will introduce five electric cars
January 29, 2020The presentation will take place at the Auto Expo car dealership home.
The Indian company Mahindra is preparing a presentation of five electric cars at the Auto Expo motor show, which will be held from February 6 to 9, this year. On the teaser before the premiere, four electric vehicles were shown. The most anticipated new product will be the second-generation XUV500 concept car. Most likely, the car will be equipped with gasoline and diesel engines, and the “green” version will appear much later. Also on the teaser is the concept of the XUV300 electric car. A variant of a car with a classic ICE is based on the SsangYong Tivoli. The electric version may appear next year and will have a range of 300 km without recharging.
With the third model – the compact crossover KUV100, the situation is much more interesting. As a concept, it was introduced exactly two years ago, so it is possible that this time we will see the serial version.
Then an electric motor with a return of 41 hp was installed on the car. The fourth on the teaser was the Atom ATV – the first time it was also shown at Auto Expo-2018, so now everyone is waiting for the production version. But the fifth novelty Mahindra decided to classify and not show on the teaser. However, the Indian edition of Autocar reported that it is likely to become a Funster sports car. According to preliminary data, the power plant capacity will be 313 hp, and acceleration to “hundreds” will take no more than 5 seconds.
