Lynk&Co is testing a seven-seater crossoverMarch 22, 2019
The company is working on a model that should soon join the lineup. It is a seven-seater version of the crossover Lynk & Co 01. Recently, it ran in cold weather in the north of Sweden.
The main difference from the standard version lies in the back of the crossover, behind the rear pillars, thanks to which the model has become longer. Rear overhang also increased in length. However, the rear doors have not changed in size. In the window you can see two additional seats, which are located very close to the back door.
Lynk & Co 01 is built on the CMA platform, which Volvo XC40 also uses. As a result, these models will share the engine range. A 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine is expected, which generates 190 hp. It will be equipped with a seven-speed automatic transmission with dual clutch. All-wheel drive system will be available. A plug-in hybrid will appear, which will be equipped with a 1.5-liter three-cylinder petrol engine. Power will be 180 hp It will be supplemented by an electric motor that will provide 60 kW (82 hp). In fully electric mode, Lynk & Co 01 can drive about 51 km.
The premiere of the seven-seater Lynk & Co 01 is expected at the end of this year.
