Luxury Genesis GV80 crossover revealed on new spy photos

The first crossover of the premium sub-brand Hyundai Motor continues to acquire new details. The network regularly gets spy photos of new items, and the foreign portal Motor1.com even introduced the first SUV renders. Now, the brand has finally decided on the production debut of the model.

The Genesis GV80 concept debuted in the spring of 2017 at the motor show in New York. Since that time, the first crossover from Genesis has been regularly mentioned in the media, but has not been released to the series. Now, in the news feeds, information has appeared that the launch of the luxury cross-country will start tomorrow, December 2. But sales of the first commodity Genesis GV80 in the home market will begin only at the beginning of next year. While fans of the Korean brand are waiting for the new items to enter the market, spy photos of the Genesis GV80 continue to appear on the web.

So, the KCB portal publishes a photo of the exterior of the crossover without any camouflage. The image quality leaves much to be desired, however, the similarity with the concept can be traced: unusual two-tier optics, a spectacular radiator grille, athletic wheel arches, which are made in a shade contrasting with the main body color, etc.

The main competitive advantage of the new products from Genesis is the ability to personalize cars for each specific client.

Five-seater and seven-seater crossovers with a different set of available options and equipment will be available for purchase. The drive can be rear or full. A rich palette of available colors for painting the body is also offered – 12 options at once, three of which are matte (white, gray and green). But the interior of the car can be issued in one of six options. Top versions can count on luxurious materials: genuine leather, Nappa leather, wood inserts, etc.

Prices for the novelty are kept secret. The manufacturer will announce them only after the official start of sales, when the first commercial copies of the Genesis GV80 finally get to dealers.
