Luxury brand PSA DS Automobile will miss the Geneva Motor ShowDecember 7, 2018
International auto shows are gradually losing their popularity and relevance. More and more automakers are losing interest in them. So, DS Automobile is going to miss the Geneva Motor Show in March 2019.
So far there has been no official statement, but rumors are already circulating that the luxury European brand DS Automobile is going to miss the Geneva Motor Show, and probably this is not the last brand that refuses to come to the car dealership. The luxury PSA brand has not yet reported anything, but insiders confirm the information that has appeared. The reason may be the absence of any significant new products.
Nevertheless, DS Cars took part in the 2018 Paris Motor Show, where they presented the 2019 DS3 crossover. The small crossover will compete with the Audi Q2 and plans to do this with a wide range of kits, modifications and powertrains.
Question remains participation in the Geneva Motor Show another brand PSA – Opel. But still, the company may decide to be present due to the desire to show the new version of Corsa, its electrified version, as well as the Grandland X hybrid crossover
In addition to DS, other major brands Jaguar Land Rover, Ford and Volvo will not arrive in Geneva either.
Meanwhile, PSA is committed to maximizing the modularity of its platform, as well as the unification of the cars belonging to the group: Peugeot, Citroen, DS, Opel and Vauxhall. The new platform has already been disclosed, but now interesting details have appeared.
