The British company introduced a special modification of the Exige sports car, which was developed in honor of the Formula car in 1963

Company Lotus introduced a special modification of the sports car Exige, called Cup 430 Type 25. The novelty was dedicated to the Formula-1 race car Lotus Type 25, in which Scottish pilot Lotus Jim Clark won the championship in 1963.

The coupe received a special racing livery of white, black and green shades, as well as a special roof and rear fender. Additional aerodynamic elements can generate up to 220 kg of downforce.

In the salon appeared racing seats with a carbon frame, covered with alcantara, decorative elements of anodized aluminum and carbon fiber, and the knob of the gearbox selector is made of wood – like the original Type 25.

Lotus Cup 430 Type 25 was completed with a modified 3.5-liter V6 unit with a drive supercharger, developing 430 hp. and 440 Nm of torque. The engine is combined with a six-speed manual gearbox. The coupe is able to dial the first 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds, and its maximum speed is 290 km per hour.

The edition of the Lotus Cup 430 Type 25 will be limited to 25 copies. The cost of a sports car is not yet called. In Europe, the prices for the standard Lotus Exige Cup 430 start from 126.8 thousand euros.
