Lotus introduced a special edition of the Elise Cup 250February 11, 2020
It has been a long time since Lotus showed a special version of the model that has existed for many years. Fans of holiday publications can please themselves again, this time with the Elise Cup 250 Bathurst Edition.
In 2017, Lotus introduced a special version of its Elise, Cup 250. This entry-level special edition Lotus received 246 horsepower and 250 Nm with four cylinders behind the front seats, the most powerful four-cylinder Lotus ever built in a street law model. This is the same “Englishman” weighing only 860 kilograms, which is now presented as a publication Bathurst.
Bathurst Edition was created in honor of Lotus entering the track at the legendary Mount Panorama track in Bathurst, Australia, during the Bathurst 12 Hour race weekend.
The limited edition is available in special black light metal and features a special badge with its serial number and Barthurst Cup 250 stickers on all sides. Unfortunately, the Elise Cup 250 Bathurst Edition is exclusively for the Australian market.
Like the regular Elise Cup 250, this special variant can accelerate to 100 km / h in 4.3 seconds. Its maximum speed is 248 km / h. The additional work of the spoiler compared to the usual Elise should lead to an increase in downforce by 125 kg at a speed of 225 kilometers per hour.
