Champ Car Ferrari F2004 got a full-size sweet copy
At the Italian pastry festival Sciocola presented the Formula 1 racing car, made entirely of chocolate.
An unusual treat was created for the Sciocola festival in Italian Modena by the 39-year-old chocolatier Mirko Dalla Vecchia. Together with sculptor Alessandro Marrone, the pastry chef made Michael Schumacher’s formula car of chocolate in a 1: 1 scale!
It took over 800 hours of work for a gigantic treat, and the result was strikingly similar to the original: the sweet Ferrari F2004 has the necessary “aerodynamic elements” and company logos with a “prancing stallion”.
Ferrari F2004 – one of the most successful cars in the history of Formula 1. Pilots Ferrari won during the championship, consisting of 18 Grand Prix, 15 victories. It was behind the wheel of a Ferrari F2004 that Michael Schumacher won his seventh and final title.
Ten years ago, the fans had already prepared a sweet copy of the champion Ferrari – the F2008 chocolate car was presented at the sponsorship event of the Italian team. Then, the production of the car took two tons of Belgian chocolate, and 21 confectioners worked on the culinary masterpiece.
