Look at the new Ford Bronco as a 6×6 pickup truckJuly 20, 2020
So far, this is just a render, but who knows – perhaps tuning companies will take note of the project.
The revived Ford Bronco debuted with an extensive family, in which there was a place for both a crossover and a brutal frame all-terrain vehicle, and so many branded accessories were prepared that there should definitely not be any problems with personalization. Nevertheless, the independent design studio SRK Designs virtually worked out an option for the most frostbitten (in a good sense) guys.
The guys uncovered the photo editor and turned the Bronco into a huge three-axle pickup truck with a 6×6 wheel arrangement. The transformation looks dashing, but the most interesting thing is that there is nothing fantastic in it. In theory, the idea can be adopted by a tuning studio and rolled out at the next SEMA exhibition something similar to this render.
There are more than enough examples of implantation of the third driving axle in a frame all-terrain vehicle. Suffice it to recall the famous Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG 6×6. And in America there are enough masters. The Texas company Hennessey turned the Chevrolet Silverado and Ford F-150 into six-wheeled monsters. And legends like the Jeep Wrangler or Land Rover Defender are no strangers to going under the knife of car surgeons.
So the charismatic Bronco will certainly fall into the pencil of those who like to build something like that. Let’s wait impatiently, the first step has already been taken, and the style guide is in the public domain on Youtube.
