Look at the modernized Classic Mini for the richSeptember 11, 2019
The British company David Brown has prepared an expensive modification of the Mini Remastered Oselli Edition – a car with a body from a classic model and a filling that meets modern standards. The price of such a car is 98 thousand pounds for the four-seater version and 108 thousand for the sports version with a safety cage.
Back in 2017, it became known that the company David Brown Automotive, specializing in the restoration of retrocars, plans to produce original Mini and sell at 50-100 copies a year at a price of about 70 thousand pounds. Apparently, customers liked the restodes; after two years, the company announced the appearance on the market of an even more expensive and powerful special version of the Oselli Edition, developed in partnership with Oselli Classic & Sports Cars.
The car has undergone significant modernization: the volume of the four-cylinder naturally aspirated engine was increased from 1275 to 1420 cubic centimeters, and its return increased from 79 to 101 horsepower. A couple of the unit is a five-speed gearbox.
In addition, experts finalized the chassis: they installed adjustable Spax shock absorbers, front brakes and alloy drums on the rear wheels, as well as securing additional lighting units on the grille and replacing ordinary seats with sports buckets.
The presentation of the Mini Remastered Oselli Edition will take place on September 13 in Goodwood. In total, 60 copies of such cars will be released in honor of the 60th anniversary of the classic Mini.
