Look at the Mercedes-Benz GLA pickup truckDecember 22, 2019
The artist turned a German crossover into a compact pickup
Hungarian designer Samok Tamas, known by the nickname X-Tomi, introduced what a second-generation pick-up Mercedes-Benz GLA might look like.
Mercedes-Benz recently unveiled the next-generation compact GLA crossover. He retained the concept of his predecessor, but slightly changed in size and offered more room in the cabin for rear passengers. This was not enough for the X-Tomi designer, so he decided to add another body to the GLA range, except for the five-door station wagon: a pickup truck with a double cab. Of course, such a car has no chance of ever appearing on sale, but as an experiment by the artist, it deserves attention.
On the GLA computer render, the roof was cut off and the rear doors were removed, instead of organizing a passenger sofa and luggage compartment, a small (taking into account a 14 mm reduction compared to the previous generation overall length) loading platform was arranged. Swiftness gives an unusual body a spoiler on the roof of the cab. Sales of the second-generation Mercedes-Benz GLA crossover will begin in the spring of 2020 in Europe, and a little later the car will enter the US and China markets.
