Look at the Honda Integra Type R 2022 existing only on rendersOctober 4, 2020
The Honda Integra, known in some regional markets as the Acura Integra, was a sportier derivative of the Civic.
In 1995, the Japanese brought the Honda Integra Type R to the home market. The novelty immediately gained popularity among fans of racing cars: the price at the start of sales was budgetary, and the racing spirit of Honda was real. Cars reached Europe in 1998. In 2001, the second generation of the Integra Type R appears, which the brand decided to develop from scratch. The car was sold until 2006.
Honda Integra fans will likely appreciate the new renders, which show the hypothetical next-generation Honda / Acura Integra, including the high-performance Type R modification. These images were worked on by Giordano Rubinstein Tauler.
The project is interesting, but in conditions when offers on the sports car market are decreasing, giving up under the onslaught of crossovers and SUVs, it is not very promising.
Both cars are styled with the current Honda and Acura branding, with the Type R looking more futuristic. An ordinary Integra would have passed for a production car. True, for a sports coupe, the car is too high on the render, and it looks too bulky. More graceful proportions and dynamic shapes would suit such a car much better.
