Lincoln has published a video of the new serial crossover, which will be sold under the revived name Aviator (the original Aviator was produced from 2002 to 2005). The public premiere of the car will be held at the motor show in Los Angeles.

It is assumed that the product Aviator will resemble the concept car of the same name, presented in spring 2018 at the New York Auto Show. The serial car will take its place in the American brand lineup a notch below the Navigator model.

According to preliminary data, the 3.5-liter supercharged unit V6 from the Ford EcoBoost family, as well as the turbocharged four, will be included in the engine range. In addition, it is possible that the Lincoln Aviator will be available with a hybrid power plant.

Aviator will be offered with a new generation SYNC infotainment system with a 12-inch touchscreen display, as well as with a special electronic key – access to the door locks, ignition and other vehicle functions will be carried out using a special application on the smartphone.
