Lincoln introduced the Corsair crossover at the New York Auto ShowApril 17, 2019
As representatives of the company say, being the receiver of the previous MKC model, the Corsair is an absolutely new car, and it is oriented towards an even younger audience of the brand. The start of sales of the American novelty is scheduled for this year. Price data not yet available.
The compact Lincoln Corsair 2020 model crossover debuted this week on the eve of the 2019 New York Auto Show, as the smallest crossover of the American brand.
Similar to the Nautilus, Aviator and Navigator models, the “baby” Lincoln Corsair is promoting a new design style for the company. It is reported that the novelty is based on the Ford Escape compact crossover. Even with shorter proportions, the car retains the same elegant lines, details and even a sloping roof as the larger Aviator.
At the start of sales, the Corsair crossover will be offered with two engines. The standard will be a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine with 250 horsepower (373 Nm).
You can also choose a 2.3-liter 4-cylinder engine producing 280 hp. (420 Nm). Lincoln engineers said that the plug-in hybrid version of the crossover will be presented later, but there are no details yet.
The database offers an 8.0-inch touch screen infotainment system, and for a fee you can order a 12.3-inch dashboard. It is worth noting and adjustable in 24 positions of the seat with a massage, as well as a massive panoramic glass roof.
The base is the Lincoln security system complex, which includes automatic emergency braking with the detection of pedestrians, monitoring of blind spots, assistance in keeping a lane and automatic high beams. Additional features include adaptive cruise control, lane assistance, reverse braking assistance and automatic parking assistance.
