Limited edition Land Rover Defender SUV sold out in just 72 hours
February 23, 2021Land Rover Defender boasts a striking appearance and a powerful power plant. A pleasant surprise from the company awaits all buyers.
The British company Land Rover was able to sell a special version of the Defender SUV in just 3 days. Recall that such a car is based on the first generation SUV, which was no longer sold 6 years ago.
The exterior and style of such a car are dedicated to the Camel Trophy – note the bright yellow hue of Eastnor Yellow, an antique radiator grille and stamped 16-inch wheels. The interior of the car combines retro style and modern technology. We also note the presence of custom-made Elliot Brown watches and leather-trimmed chairs with yellow stitching. But the multimedia system has become modern and includes a navigator and communication with gadgets.
Under the hood is a powerful V8 engine capable of delivering 405 horsepower in a 5.0 liter displacement. In tandem with it, the 8-speed automatic transmission and a 2-speed transfer case work. For this version, buyers paid a large sum of 195 thousand pounds. That’s about 5 times what the new second-generation Defender SUV costs.
Note that the car was released in a limited edition of 25 copies, which further increases its value.
Along with the purchase, customers received an invitation to an off-road UK tour.
Earlier it became known that Land Rover may present the Defender model in a pickup body. And this is not just a fantasy of designers, but official information from representatives of the British brand.
