Lexus LC500 luxury coupe gets a shock dose of carbonFebruary 21, 2021
One of the most beautiful cars Lexus on the market received original wheels from the American company Strasse, which specializes in the production of designer forged wheels for luxury cars.
This particular Lexus LC500 gets a more aggressive look thanks to a new carbon fiber hood. Complementing the look is a carbon fiber splitter, as well as new side skirts, a trunk lid spoiler (known as a lip spoiler in tuners) and a unique diffuser. The wheels, unlike other elements of this tuning kit, receive only a carbon fiber finish. However, this does not prevent them from ideally complementing the overall ensemble.
Recall that fans of the brand met with the updated coupe back in April last year. Externally, the car has not changed much, and the only noticeable innovation, perhaps, was the new multimedia with support for Android Auto and a 10.3-inch display. The manufacturer used new materials for the interior trim.
On the technical side, everything is much more interesting: new suspension stabilizers, lightweight rear wheels, high-strength coil springs, etc.
The Lexus LC 500 is driven by a 471-horsepower “aspirated” engine of five liters.
The LC 500h modification is available for purchase, which gets a 3.5-liter V6, a pair of electric motors, a lithium-ion battery and a 4-automatic transmission.
Previously, a Norwegian tuning studio made a carbon package for the Porsche Taycan. It consists of 14 parts, and you can buy it for a pretty decent amount of $ 15,200.
