Since the beginning of the year, 180,239 cars have been sold in China. And only in November, the company managed to sell 19,325 cars. Both indicators show a significant increase in sales compared to last year amid a general decline in the local market.
Lexus press service announced its success in the Chinese market. Moreover, many manufacturers can only envy. Recently, the Celestial market has shown a negative trend. However, Lexus products are in high demand, and sales continue to grow.
So, for 11 months of 2019, 180,239 Lexuses were sold in China, which showed a significant increase in sales by 21.01% compared to the previous year. Over the past month, 19,325 cars were sold, which also showed an increase of 16.5% compared to November 2018.
There is also an increased demand for hybrid cars. Last year, 7,449 cars were sold. Demand increased by 30.91%. Moreover, the share of sales is already 38.5%. Since the beginning of the year, 61 204 Lexus hybrid cars have been sold in China, which amounted to 33.96% of total sales, setting a new historic maximum.
Lexus, meanwhile, showed the electric LF-30 in Los Angeles. The concept has an unusual design and is designed to show the brand’s vision in terms of electric cars.
