Lexus IS 300 F Sport will receive a limited edition Black LineFebruary 25, 2019
Cars will be released only 900 copies in 2019. The first deliveries will begin in March of this year, and the cost will be announced a little later at the time of the start of sales.
Lexus decided to please the fans of the sports sedan IS 300 F Sport with a new limited edition in the strict and stylish image of the Black Line. The version will be offered in strictly limited quantities – only 900 units, will be issued for each country in a limited quota.
A special version of the Black Line can be ordered for the version with a 2.0-liter turbo engine capable of developing up to 240 horsepower, and equipped with rear-wheel drive only, as well as for the all-wheel drive version with a 3.5-liter V6 engine with a power of up to 260 horsepower. In the first variant, an automatic transmission is offered on eight stages, in a torus on six gears.
A feature of the model will be black side mirrors and 18-inch split-spoke wheels with black chrome trim – a technology typical of larger LS models. In addition, customers will have to choose between three exterior colors: ultra-white, atomic silver and obsidian. Inside, the manufacturer will add black Nuluxe seats with a red accent, as well as a red line throughout the trim. Another feature will be a black steering wheel trimmed with wood.
Pricing information has not yet been announced, but it is expected that Black Line models will cost more than the usual IS 300 F Sport. The cost of the regular version starts at $ 41,605.
Meanwhile, the new Lexus IS will receive a motor from BMW. The updated sedan will be equipped with the same unit as the revived Toyota Supra. Under the hood, a 3.0-liter six-cylinder turbo engine will “register”.
