Lexus unveils GX Overland concept SUV for ‘exploration of the vastness of Canada’
Lexus unveiled a concept version of the GX SUV called Overland, prepared for heavy off-road driving “to explore the vastness of Canada.” The car premiered at the motor show in Montreal.
The frame SUV received a special suspension with increased travel and ground clearance, unique “toothy” tires, a reinforced front bumper, as well as side and bottom protection. The equipment included a quick-folding roof tent and a removable shower tank.
The car’s interior was trimmed with red leather, aluminum and wood, and multimedia screens for rear passengers were installed in the headrests of the front row seats. In addition, travelers have the Mark Levinson audio system with 17 speakers.
Lexus GX Overland is equipped with the same 4.6-liter V8 gasoline engine, developing 305 liters. from. and 446 Nm of torque. The motor works together with a six-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive system.
