Lexus Drops Another LF-1 Concept Teaser Ahead Of Detroit DebutDecember 19, 2017
Lexus has released a second teaser shot of the LF-1 Limitless concept – a new luxury SUV show car that will be revealed at the Detroit Motor Show next month. This second image hints at the front end of the new concept car, showcasing its angular headlight signature.
The Lexus LF-1 concept will arrive at the 2018 Detroit Auto Show in January to preview the automaker’s new flagship SUV.
Like most Lexus’ concepts, it’s been designated with the LF badge that has only been applied once to a road car on the legendary LFA supercar. Little has been officially released regarding the new concept other than that the CALTY design studio in Southern California created the LF-1 Limitless’ swooping coupe/SUV design.
We also know that the LF-1 was designed in Southern California at the CALTY design studio, and that it will represent the next step in the Japanese automaker’s current design language.
It’s anticipated that the LF-1 Limitless concept will make production. It’s likely to translate into the Japanese marque’s flagship crossover, taking over from the current range-topper, the RX.
This latest teaser shows a partially lit front fascia, with pointy and aggressive-looking LED daytime running lights and a backlit badge in the middle of the grille, which may turn out to be just as massive as the one on the all-new LS saloon.
