Lexus clarifies the cost of a motor yacht LY 650 before the early start of salesSeptember 23, 2019
Officially, they will start on October 30, and in anticipation of this event, the company holds several more presentations of the new product, which it calls one of the most technically equipped in its segment.
LY 650, called the world premiere, took place in the American town of Boca Raton, pc. Florida. Once again before sales, the yacht will also be demonstrated in Florida at the Fort Lauderdale International Maritime Exhibition. The preliminary cost of the vessel has been announced – it will be about 3.5 million dollars, excluding additional equipment.
The LY 650 was created on the basis of the experimental Lexus Sport Yacht Concept, shown in January 2017. The Italian studio Nuvolari Lenard worked on the concept with a Japanese company.
As standard, the Lexus LY 650 has one of the most spacious salons in its class, according to the creators, and the height of all ceilings exceeds 2 m. The vessel can provide 6 people with comfortable berths.
From advanced electronics, the LY-Link system is distinguished, which allows you to remotely control a number of functions of the vessel. Using a smartphone, you can, for example, control an air conditioner. There is also a system of semi-automatic control and retention of the vessel in the given coordinates. A joystick for precise maneuvering is a standard feature.
The propulsion system is not a proprietary Japanese company: installed twin Volvo Penta IPS with a capacity of 1050, 1200 and 1350 hp everyone. Thus, the maximum installation capacity of a 65-foot vessel is 2,700 hp. Fuel capacity – 4,000 liters.
The Lexus LY 650 will be built by Marquis Yachts, an American company in Pulaski, Wisconsin.
