Lexus again became the leader of the most reliable cars in the worldOctober 30, 2018
According to Consumer Reports, Toyota, Lexus and Mazda were the most reliable cars.
The American analytical and statistical agency Consumer Reports has presented the next annual car reliability rating. The studies were conducted in the framework of a continuous survey of car owners. In total, about 500,000 people were surveyed. The results are presented for the full year 2017.
The most reliable cars were models of Japanese brands, and the leader of the rating were Lexus models. The average reliability rating of these cars is 78 out of 100. Toyota comes second (76 points out of 100).
Mazda’s cars were in third place, although they ranked 12th in the past. As experts explained, a similar breakthrough was achieved thanks to the new CX-9 and MX-5 Miata, which deserved the highest reliability among the entire line of the manufacturer. In addition to them, Tesla, Cadillac and Volvo models were included in the rating.
If we consider not the company, but the model, then the most reliable car is the Lexus GX frame SUV.
Toyota Prius C was in second place, and is characterized by low consumption, as well as the ability to travel up to 500,000 km without major repairs.
