More than 300,000 Lego cubes were used to build a full-sized sculpture, as well as 2,000 hours of time. The dimensions of the sculpture completely coincide with the size of the original.

Unlike the Bugatti, Toyota and Renault, the American automaker Chevrolet never had an exact copy of its Lego cars. Nevertheless, the company has experience in building such sculptures. They represented BatMobile in a full-size image of Lego cubes in the framework of cooperation with Warner Bros. Pictures and Lego Movie. Now, the engineers decided to build their own model, and the 2018 Trail Boss Silverado 1500 LT pickup was taken as the basis.

In the construction of a full-size model took a specially trained team of LEGO Master Builders of 18 people. It took them more than 2,000 hours to combine 334,544 cubes of designer. The total mass of the sculpture turned out to 1,500 kg. The sculpture itself was designed and assembled at the Lego Group’s model shop in Enfield, Connecticut. It should be noted that the exact copy of Silverado Lego has a working optics and elaborate exterior details.

Building a model is a hint that the company will continue to work with Warner Bros. Pictures and Lego Movie and the next film “The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part” will be presented soon.

Meanwhile, the fastest Bugatti Chiron from Lego scattered into pieces while setting a record. Enthusiasts decided to set their own record on the legendary Italian hypercar, but built from Lego.
