LEGO showed off its counterpart to the unbreakable Tesla Cybertrus pickup truckDecember 2, 2019
During the last presentation, Elon Musk introduced the first electric pickup Tesla Cybertruck. The car caused an unprecedented hype, collecting over a few days over 250 thousand pre-orders. The famous manufacturer of designer LEGO, who presented his version of an unbreakable pickup truck, did not stand aside.
During the presentation, Elon Musk spoke about the high strength of Cybertruck. Franz von Holzhausen, head of the Tesla design team, entered the scene and hit the pickup truck with a sledgehammer several times. After that, metal balls were used, which significantly damaged the glass. Elon Musk calmly reacted to such a development of events and said that he would “fix it later.”
The LEGO version of the unbreakable pickup doesn’t look as futuristic as Tesla did. She doesn’t really look like a car from Blade Runner. But the LEGO version, as the company assures, is guaranteed to have unbreakable windows, because they do not exist at all. It is not known whether Ilona Mask will throw LEGO on a design duel following the example of the Ford auto concern, but the manufacturer of designers clearly managed to attract additional attention.
