Legendary Toyota Mark X GRMN will return with a 313-hp engineJanuary 11, 2019
After almost four years the sports salon returns to the market in a special version. The car will get a more aggressive design, as well as unique additions.
Even as part of the Tokyo Motor Show, we were shown a completely new Toyota Mark X GRMN, based on the success of its predecessor, limited to 100 units. The novelty is based on the Mark X 350 RDS model, and the GRMN version features a more aggressive front bumper and large air intakes. In addition, the sedan received a new grille, glossy black accents, as well as unique 19-inch alloy wheels from BBS.
The back also underwent significant stylistic changes, and now boasts a bumper with air ducts near the rear wheels, a “four-barrel” exhaust system, a black diffuser, a small spoiler, and tinted optics. The braking system is installed by GR with white calipers.
As an additional option for customers available roof of carbon fiber. In Toyota claim that the new roof will reduce the weight of the car by 22 kg and helps to reduce the center of gravity.
Under the hood will be installed 3.5-liter naturally aspirated engine capable of developing up to 313 horsepower and 380 Nm of torque. Together with it, there is only a manual transmission on six steps with a drive only to the rear axle.
Circulation will be limited to 350 copies.
