The company Land Rover turned the launch project into a series of three-door SUV Range Rover SV Coupe, which was to become the most expensive car in the history of the British brand. This is with reference to its own source reports the publication Auto Express.
Concept Car Range Rover SV Coupe was presented in March 2018 at the Geneva Motor Show. The car, created on the basis of the standard Range Rover SUV, received its own power structure and a unique body.
Range Rover SV Coupe is equipped with a five-liter V8 compressor unit, developing 565 hp. and 700 Nm of torque. The SUV is able to accelerate from the spot to the 100 km/h in five seconds, and its maximum speed is 266 km per hour. The car received an all-wheel drive system with lowered side and locking rear differential, as well as an air suspension with the ability to adjust the stiffness of the shock absorbers and change the ground clearance.
Total Land Rover planned to release 999 of these cars. Prices for an exclusive SUV had to start from 240,000 pounds sterling
The source of Auto Express did not give an exact reason for the failure of the serial production of the Range Rover SV Coupe, saying only that Land Rover will concentrate on developing next-generation models for the global market.
