Land Rover Defender made a road yachtAugust 29, 2020
The specialists of the Polish studio Carlex Design have developed a project based on the Land Rover Defender in the style of a luxury yacht.
The Defender from the Polish company received a hand-sanded body in a silvery shade, new wheels, black decor details and a modified hood, and also a spare wheel cover with the image of a wind rose. But the appearance is secondary here, since the main changes affected the car’s interior.
So, there will be two options for interior design: a combination of white leather with wood inserts or brown with decor in brushed aluminum. In turn, the trunk and back of the back sofa will be made of wooden slats, like the deck of a luxury yacht. The revised Defender will also get different seats and a steering wheel with a partially wooden rim.
The technical equipment of the tuned SUV is likely to be borrowed from the “donor” model. And the second generation Defender is driven by a 2.0-liter 300-horsepower “turbo four”, a 6-cylinder petrol engine with electric supercharging and an on-board network of 48 volts (400 hp), as well as diesel engines with a capacity of 200 and 240 hp. …
In addition, the Land Rover Defender was recently shown as a full-size truck. It should be emphasized that in the design style of the novelty, you can pay attention to the features of the second generation Defender.
