Land Rover Announces Range Rover Fifty Anniversary EditionJune 16, 2020
The novelty is dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the model.
Land Rover celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Range Rover SUV with a new limited model, marking half a century how the flagship product is in the company’s lineup. The anniversary model was called Range Rover Fifty, and its circulation will be only 1 970 units. This number was chosen for a reason – this is the year when the first Range Rover was introduced.
Range Rover Fifty is based on the Autobiography version. The special edition received several exterior elements with a new black shade called Auric Atlas, and customers will be able to choose one of two unique 22-inch wheel designs.
The design of the anniversary Range Rover was designed by Jerry McGovern, brand chief designer. The model received a number of nameplates and plates that indicate that we have a special modification of the car.
Land Rover plans to offer both Range Rover Fifty with both standard and long wheelbase, with the choice of power plant. The exact range of engines has not yet been confirmed, but a hybrid P400e with a gasoline unit will be offered.
Most Range Rover Fiftys will be available in one of four colors: Carpathian Gray, Rosello Red, Aruba (a silver shade), and Santorini Black. However, a limited number of buyers will be able to choose from the following three shades that were available on the original Range Rover in 1970: Tuscan Blue, Bahama Gold and Davos White.
