Lamborghini Urus Evo spotted on tests

A new version of Lamborghini’s first and most powerful SUV is just around the corner. This camouflaged prototype, which was spotted during road tests, shows the upcoming Urus Evo SUV.

The Urus Evo will simply be a replacement for the current generation Urus, and will receive a number of improvements. The new addition to the name first appeared on the Huracan supercar and is now used on the Urus SUV.

As a reminder, the Lamborghini Urus debuted in 2018, making the Lamborghini brand a brand for the whole family. Lamborghini customers no longer had to choose between a Lamborghini and a family luxury SUV as the Urus combined both with shocking success. Although the Urus is a conventional SUV, sharing a platform and powertrain with similar models from Porsche, Bentley and Audi, its distinctive styling set it apart from its siblings.

With extensive use of carbon fiber, the world’s largest set of carbon-ceramic brakes (17.32 inches) and a powerful 641 hp twin-turbo V8 engine, the Urus delivers performance that no other crossover can offer. The Urus has a top speed of 305 km / h making it one of the fastest SUVs sold today.

We expect the refreshed Lamborghini Urus to debut later this year as a 2022 model year car. It is possible that the car will be updated externally and in the cabin, while the power plant will remain unchanged. The Urus Evo will be an evolution of the tried-and-true SUV, and Lamborghini won’t change the aspects of the Urus that work well. This mid-life update will just bring changes to keep Urus interesting.
