Lamborghini tests Urus rescue crossover testsNovember 12, 2019
Automakers are testing their future models in a wide variety of conditions, they are usually accompanied by a group of support vehicles. Lamborghini unveiled its rescue SUV.
It seems that the Italian automaker is preparing something special. In spy photos, a heavily modified Urus crossover was specially designed for active operations. The SUV is equipped with a tubular front bumper and a Warn winch.
He received a spectacular black and yellow color, as well as wheels with the same colors. The crossover is equipped with a heavy-duty roof rack with auxiliary lighting and a retractable awning on the driver’s side.
From the unusual, elongations on the side mirrors can be distinguished. Urus also received a tire holder to help protect the rear. At the moment, there is little information about the instance, but most likely it is a support car that will not go into mass production. He will accompany the prototypes while they are tested in cold weather in Scandinavia and hot in the arid desert.
No technical changes are expected. Rescue Car is equipped with the same 4.0-liter eight-cylinder engine, developing a power of 641 horsepower. The motor works with an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive system.
The standard Urus accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in just 3.6 seconds and reaches a top speed of 305 km / h.
