Lamborghini Sian will become a powerful roadsterJune 11, 2020
The Italian manufacturer is already developing an open version of the hybrid supercar Lamborghini Sian.
Sian is the first Lamborghini hybrid supercar. Responsible for performance is an improved version of the same 6.5-liter V12, which can be found in the Aventador SVJ, with a capacity of 785 horsepower. Combined with a 48-volt electrical system, electric motor and supercapacitor, the Lamborghini Sian has a total output of 819 hp. This setting allows the Sian to accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in just 2.8 seconds, reach a top speed of 350 km / h, and makes it the most powerful Lamborghini road car.
Currently, the Lamborghini Sian is only available as a coupe, but according to a foreign publication, a version in the form of a roadster is already under development. Deliveries of the coupe version have not yet begun, but the Lamborghini Sian roadster seems inevitable, since Lamborghini in the past released a limited edition “topless version” of its supercars, such as Veneno. However, it is not known whether this supercar will get an open top.
In the images created by Nikita Aksyonov last year, the Lamborghini Sian roadster could potentially look even better than its analogue coupe, whose style is also inspired by the startling concept of Terzo Millennio, which debuted back in 2017. The 6.5-liter V12 Sian will no doubt sound even more interesting without a roof, but the additional structural rigidity necessary to compensate for the absence of this element can affect performance.
Production of the Sian coupe was limited to only 63 units, so you should not expect more than 63 units of Sian Roadster to leave the production line. According to preliminary data, each instance of the Sian Roadster was sold even before the news about it appeared. This is not surprising, because the Sian coupe also sold out during its debut last year.
As for the cost of the Lamborghini Sian coupe, it starts at $ 3.7 million, so do not be surprised if the Roadster version has an even more outrageous price tag.
