Lamborghini decided to no longer participate in international motor shows. Instead of traditional car dealerships, the brand is going to present its new cars at specially organized events for these purposes. This was reported on the eve of the British edition of Autocar, whose correspondents refer to information received from the director of marketing and communications of the brand Katie Bassi.
According to her, the usual automobile exhibitions today have ceased to correspond to the philosophy of the company. The brand is going to take into account the preferences of its customers, who rely on personalization, exclusivity, as well as live communication with the brand’s employees. Not the last role in the transformation of the perception of traditional car dealerships was played by social networks and the Internet. The Italian automaker will adjust to these trends.
The latest Lamborghini model, which was presented at a traditional car dealership, was the first Sian FKP 37 production hybrid. It debuted last fall at the Frankfurt Motor Show. The word “Sian” is translated from the Bologna dialect as “lightning”, which fully reflects the nature of the novelty.
Recall, it became known earlier that the British Motor Show was postponed until 2021 due to the coronavirus. After more than a 10-year break, the motor show was supposed to take place in August this year. However, plans had to be changed.
