Lamborghini Introduces New Huracan EVO RWD Spyder May 7May 6, 2020
The Italian automaker will present with the help of Augmented Reality (AR) its new Huracan EVO RWD Spyder on May 7th.
Lamborghini uses augmented reality to launch a car in a completely new way during the global COVID-19 pandemic and social distance. Using Apple Quick Look, the company delivers its latest V10 car directly to customers and fans around the world: all they need is an iPhone or iPad.
On the official website of the automaker, the See in AR button will be available, which will allow you to admire the new rear-wheel drive modification of its Huracan EVO convertible. Virtual reality allows the viewer to rotate and expand the dimensions of the vehicle, including on a 1: 1 scale, carefully examining both its external and internal details. This functionality will be available soon for the entire Lamborghini line.
Stefano Domenicali, chairman and chief executive officer of Automobili Lamborghini, said: “During a period of serious business problems, Lamborghini is again innovating and exploring new methods of communication. At this time of the global pandemic, new technologies developed rapidly, and Lamborghini opened up exciting new opportunities. Starting tomorrow, every home can have Lamborghini with Apple’s AR technology, available on hundreds of millions of AR-enabled devices worldwide. ”
