Lamborghini has released the 10,000th copy of the Urus crossoverJuly 21, 2020
The press service of the Italian automaker said that the 10,000th instance of the Lamborghini Urus super-crossover was assembled at the brand’s main assembly plant.
In early March this year, Lamborghini had to temporarily close its main assembly plant due to the coronavirus outbreak. As soon as the pandemic situation stabilized in Italy, the company resumed operations at its factories and is now back to the usual speed of production of its models.
The press service of the Italian Lamborghini has just informed us that the 10,000th Urus super-crossover, which has a Nero Noctis Matt body color (which is new to the model), has been produced at the company’s plant.
The car also received a full carbon package and a two-tone interior. This is one of the relatively large markets for Urus.
It’s worth noting that the Lamborghini Urus crossover is responsible for the huge growth in the automaker’s global sales that Lamborghini recorded last year. In 2019, the Italian brand lost a total of 8,205 crossover units worldwide, representing a significant 43% jump over the previous year. Urus accounted for 4,962 of all sales, or more than 50% of the total number of vehicles sold by the brand.
Not so long ago, our publication wrote that Lamborghini demonstrated the operation of the Sian hypercar cooling system. The system turned out to be innovative, since it not only effectively copes with its main functions, but also has an excellent effect on aerodynamics and handling.
