Lamborghini has published a teaser of its new hypercarFebruary 11, 2020
The Italian automaker showed a couple of minutes ago how powerful the power plant sounds of its new hypercar, which will be designed only for the racetrack. Presentation of new items is scheduled for the end of this year.
Lamborghini Squadra Corse is a division of the legendary Italian automaker, which is engaged in motorsport, and these guys want to significantly expand their field of activity. Usually, the company is engaged in the creation of exclusive cars, for example, a one-of-a-kind instance of SC18 Alston, which is often called Aventador “on steroids.” The car received another aerodynamic body kit, was specially created for a wealthy buyer at the end of 2018. The Urus-ready ST-X Urus crossover is also the work of the Squadra Corse guys.
Now, however, they decided to create a hypercar that can only be driven out onto the race track.
It has no name yet, but we know that “under its hood” will be a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter engine from the same Aventador. In a new video teaser published today by the Squadra Corse press service, we can hear the menacing roar of this hybrid monster.
Engine power will be 830 horsepower, and this is without the help of an electric motor. This impressive figure is even higher than the 819 hp that the Sián FKP 37 offers, the very first production Lamborghini hybrid and its most powerful car maker to date, of all those that are allowed to drive on public roads.
“A large rear wing, a roof scoop and a racing hood with a double air intake. With an aluminum front frame and carbon fiber monocoque, our new hypercar has been engineered to the highest safety standards, and the innovative self-locking differential provides better handling in the classroom, ”reads the text accompanying today’s teaser. Presentation of new items is scheduled for the end of this year.
Not so long ago, we wrote that the Lamborghini Urus crossover engine was dispersed to 820 hp. German enthusiasts from Keyvany studio decided to create a special aerodynamic body kit for the Lamborghini Urus crossover, which almost entirely consists of carbon fiber.
