The press service of the Italian automaker has published a teaser for the most powerful version of the Italian supercar Lamborghini Huracan. It is reported that the newest car , which will become a “street” version of a full-fledged racing car, will receive the designation Super Trofeo Omologato, or simply STO.

A new teaser posted on the Italian automaker’s Facebook page gives us a glimpse of what we think is the upcoming Lamborghini Huracan in a powerful version of the Super Trofeo Omologato, or simply STO.

Back in March this year, an Instagram user posted two pictures of a heavily disguised prototype of the upcoming Huracan STO.

The car received an intimidating rear wing – as in the photo here – impressive body shapes (advanced aerodynamic body kit) and new rims.

As noted by Lamborghini itself, the Huracan STO will be completely “street”, that is, despite its high power, it can be driven on public roads. However, this new car draws heavily from the full-fledged Huracan Super Trofeo race car. The Huracan STO version is also rumored to get a 640-horsepower 5.2-liter naturally aspirated V10 engine as the Evo’s performance, although we expect an increase in power over the Huracan Evo.

In addition, there are rumors that the upcoming Huracan STO will be significantly lighter than the regular model. The company is aiming for a weight loss of around 150 kilograms, which will give the Huracan STO a dry weight of around 1,272 kilograms. The current Evo model will be used as a starting point. The widespread use of carbon fiber should also contribute to weight loss.

We’ll know all about the new Lamborghini Huracan STO when the supercar debuts on Friday 18 November 2020.

Not so long ago, our publication wrote that Novitec made a cool tuning project for the Lamborghini Huracan Evo. German studio Novitec has prepared an interesting body kit for the Lamborghini Huracan Evo. At the same time, the tuners did not increase the power of the Italian supercar.
