Lamborghini equipped Urus with a winch and power bumpersNovember 18, 2019
The Lamborghini Urus crossover with a “rescue” kit – kangarins, a Warn winch, additional lighting, a spare lamp on the tubular frame of the fifth door, a roof rack with a tent on the roof and “built-in” rear-view mirrors fell into the lens of photo spies near the Nurburgring.
Nothing is known about the appointment of a special “Urus”, but judging by the equipment, bright colors and inscriptions of the Rescue Car, the car is used as a “technical tool” for testing Lamborghini prototypes. As a rule, car manufacturers take utility utility vehicles or station wagons as support cars for endurance tests in deserts and in the North, but it seems that the company from Sant’Agata-Bolognese decided to excel.
There is no reason to think that the Urus in its off-road guise is equipped with a non-standard engine. Probably, under the hood, the usual gasoline “biturbo eight” with a capacity of 650 horsepower and a torque of 850 Nm. A standard SUV is able to accelerate from zero to 100 kilometers per hour in 3.6 seconds and reach a maximum speed of 305 kilometers per hour – it’s obvious that the technical equipment is less fast.
If the version that the “rescue” Urus performs the function of a support car is correct, then a single factory copy fell into the photographer’s lens. However, this is exactly how an extreme modification made on the basis of the track Urus ST-X for heavy off-road conditions might look like in reading the Lamborghini.
