Lamborghini Aventador SVJ “made” the GT-R at 1200 hp and many other supercarsDecember 28, 2019
A video was posted on the ExoticCarspotters YouTube channel about how Italian supercar Lamborghini Aventador SVJ is doing all its competitors.
Our publication shows quite a few videos about racing on a straight line – such races are called drag racing. Why are we doing this? Because it is very exciting to watch which vehicle is faster than another, you can even make your own predictions about the results of the race. This simple competition for the best speed is actually very many years old – probably such rides began with a race on … some chariots or even just on horses.
This is the essence of this video on the ExoticCarspotters YouTube channel. It is noteworthy that the action embodied in it took place earlier this year in the Netherlands, during the annual Super Car Sunday event on the TT track in Assen. A group of more than 20 different cars participated, which is not an unusual number, but among them was the rare Lamborghini Aventador SVJ – this is the most powerful version of the car created by the forces of the Italian brand.
In fact, that day the Aventador SVJ beat all its competitors, the only car with which it “had problems” was the German “charged” station wagon Audi.
There were numerous versions of the German sports coupe Porsche 911, not to mention some of its highly modified versions. Separately, it is worth noting the 1200-strong version of the Japanese Nissan GT-R supercar, which has always been a pretty serious competitor to almost any sports car. Several Audi cars came to show themselves – most of all I liked the high-performance station wagon RS6 Avant, whose engine can produce 740 hp. power.
It is safe to say that the Italian supercar Aventador SVJ was the protagonist at this event. This car was able to easily defeat a seemingly “fierce” rival from BMW in the first race, and later overtook the Porsche 911. The most interesting race that we ever saw took place a little later – the “angry bull” fought with the British roadster McLaren 570 Spider, and although the latter really wanted to win, the Lamb was faster.
