Lamborghini announces production of the 400th Huracan racing sports carApril 7, 2021
It took Italian company Lamborghini seven years to reach this significant figure for itself. The jubilee model was assembled at the brand’s headquarters in Sant’Agata Bolognese.
The release of the 400th racing Huracan was celebrated in the “family” circle: the top officials of the Italian company were present at the celebration. Stefan Winkelmann, CEO of the brand, called this achievement significant for the entire company, not just for the Squadra Corse division.
It has been successfully competing in international competitions for several years now, and the Huracan GT3 and Super Trofeo models managed to become iconic and set the rules of the game for the entire Gran Turismo segment.
Recall that the racing two-door Huracan Super Trofeo, which debuted in 2014, became the successor to the Gallardo. The supercar has raced all over the world – from Europe to the Middle East. Later, the Italians introduced the Huracan GT3. With him the brand got into the racing of the GT series.
Last year, the Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo was chosen by 25 teams at once – the sports car performed 15 championships of various scales – from national to world.
