Lagonda will present its conceptual crossover All-Terrain ConceptMarch 5, 2019
The Lagonda All-Terrain Concept is a conceptual crossover, which, according to assurances from the company’s representatives, will definitely get a serial continuation.
Following the footsteps of last year’s aerodynamic concept, called the Lagonda Vision Concept, the current All-Terrain has some similarities with the marine world – this fact is placed on a separate emphasis by the guys from the British brand.
Inside, the Lagonda All-Terrain Concept crossover is as luxurious as any yacht — for example, the steering wheel — received a built-in sensor unit in the hub. The wheel, however, is not required to drive the Lagonda All-Terrain Concept, since the crossover offers autonomous driving.
When the car itself controls its movement, the driver and front passenger can turn the seats so that they sit back.
Those in the back enter through the rear swing doors that make it easy to enter and exit. Perhaps the outstanding part of the interior of the All-Terrain Concept is its physical key, which rises between two front seats using electromagnets.
All-Terrain Concept is equipped with an electric motor and a rechargeable battery (located under its floor). Meanwhile, the shelf under the rear cargo floor extends and serves as a seat.
The appearance of the serial embodiment of the All-Terrain Concept is scheduled for 2022, and the presentation of the car will take place all at the same motor show in Geneva. Lagonda will start mass production of the crossover at its plant in St. Athens in Wales.
