Kuhl Racing Chevrolet Impala gets a stunning engraved metal bodyMarch 9, 2020
The Japanese company Kuhl Racing in recent years has created many bright projects. All these cars that came out of the tuning studio workshops received a spectacular body. It looked like it was engraved in shiny metal.
The guys from Kuhl Racing (also known as Rohan Izawa Art Design) took the legendary 1958 Chevrolet Impala as the basis for one of their latest projects. A recently tuned car was exhibited at the San Deigo Automobile Museum. Outwardly, it resembled the Subaru WRX STI and Nissan GT-R, created by the tuners several years ago. Recall that the same Nissan GT-R surprised the audience with a “golden” body.
In the photographs, the body of the Impala looks like a skilled craftsman provided it with intricate engraving. However, in reality this is not so at all. Instead of carved patterns, the classic of the American automobile industry received a special three-dimensional paint with various shades of silver.
At the same time, the tuners used special stencils to make the body look as if it was engraved. This process is very time-consuming, but it is he who guarantees an amazing result.
