KTM 390 Adventure will be produced in the PhilippinesMarch 3, 2020
KTM is committed to expanding its business. As part of this process, you have to make affordable motorcycles. For this reason, the KTM 390 Adventure will be produced in the Philippines, which is not surprising. All small-sized KTM equipment is produced in Asia.
KTM also agreed to produce Husqvarna models at the same plant in the Philippines. That makes sense. Different models of KTM and Husqvarna have many identical components, so it would be logical to localize their production in one factory. What Husqvarna models are you talking about? Of course, Vitpilen / Svartpilen 401.
As for the KTM 390 Adventure, the motorcycle was developed on the basis of the KTM 390 Duke and is a small-capacity turnduro. It is equipped with a 373 cc engine that produces 44 hp. power. The 390 Adventure has a longer suspension, more off-road tires, an updated style and ergonomics.
In general, manufacturing in the Philippines makes sense, even if some people are skeptical. In this case, the reduction in costs and the minimum price of the product is more important than the slogan “Made in Austria”.
