Koenigsegg starts selling Jesko hypercar in exclusive edition of Red CherryJune 14, 2019
Swedish hypercar Koenigsegg Jesko is available for order in the exclusive edition of Red Cherry, which is estimated at 2 350 000 euros. The car received a spectacular appearance and reduced weight.
Koenigsegg Jesko is one of the most attractive hypercars the automotive world has ever seen. Everything in this car is amazing – from its wild (in a good sense of the word) body and elegant interior to amazing technical characteristics. The powerful machine was presented in March of this year at the Geneva Motor Show, but mass production will not start until the end of 2020, but 125 copies were released, all of which have already been sold.
The company offers an exclusive Jesko hypercar performance called the Red Cherry Edition with stunning liveries (body color) and carbon wheels 20 inches on the front axle and 21 inches on the rear.
Numerous carbon fiber body accents perfectly underline the brand’s desire to maintain a minimal model weight – the hypercar only weighs 1,420 kg, including the necessary fluids. In “dry” condition, the machine weighs 1,320 kg.
Images of the cabin were not provided, and therefore we do not know whether the Red Cherry Edition is more sophisticated in this regard than the “regular” version of the hypercar. Even if the interior is the same, there are many reasons to admire Jesko, including his exquisite 5-inch gyro speedometer mounted on the steering wheel. We know that buyers will be able to order leather upholstery or Alcantara.
The unique edition of the Red Cherry Edition is estimated at 2,350,000 euros. The car is equipped with a 5.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, which can produce up to 1600 horsepower and 1500 Nm of torque when the engine is powered by E85 fuel.
